WHAT IS IT?
Hypnosis is an induced state of relaxation and concentration in which deeper parts of the mind become more accessible. In this state the individual is in a heightened state of awareness and is more open to suggestion. An individual will only adopt those suggestions that are acceptable and appropriate for them.

Hypnotherapy is a kind of psychotherapy, as it aims to re-programme patterns of behaviour within the mind, enabling irrational fears, phobias, negative thoughts and suppressed emotions to be overcome or altered.
